Teaching Assistant – Year 2 Location: Newport Pay: £89.38 per day Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm Start Date: After February Half Term 2026 Contract: Ongoing role Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Newport Primary School We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class in a welcoming primary school in Newport, starting after the February half term 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a consistent, full-time classroom role within a supportive school environment. You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning, development, and classroom engagement, helping to create a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. This position is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant, graduate, or someone with relevant childcare or classroom experience looking to develop their career within education.
