The business delivers high-quality design, engineering and prototype solutions for global clients, supporting next generation vehicle development across complex and high-profile programmes. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit two experienced Automotive Paint Technicians. The Job Role Position: The Automotive Paint Technician will join a growing paint team working on prototype, restoration and production-level vehicle projects. This Automotive Paint Technician position will initially be offered on a contract basis, with a strong view to permanent employment for the right candidates. Responsibilities include: Preparing vehicle surfaces including cleaning, masking, sanding and priming Ensuring correct adhesion and uniform finishes Mixing and applying automotive paint using spray equipment Maintaining consistent and accurate paint application across multiple projects Carrying out finishing processes including buffing and polishing Inspecting finished work to ensure high cosmetic standards Following industry safety regulations and handling materials responsibly Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment The Automotive Paint Technician will work as part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality refinishing across specialist automotive projects. The Candidate: The ideal Automotive Paint Technician will have 3-5 years' experience in automotive refinishing within accident repair, restoration, prototype or production environments. Must be confident in surface preparation, paint mixing, spray application and finishing processes. A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality control is essential. The Automotive Paint Technician must be comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering environment and contributing positively to a team. Experience working on prototype or custom vehicle programmes would be highly advantageous.
