Procurement Manager

Our client delivers deployable containerised and modular infrastructure solutions supporting defence, government and international construction programmes. Our projects include complex engineered systems deployed globally in challenging and security-conscious environments. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activity across multiple concurrent UK & international projects. The Role: The Procurement Manager will take ownership of project procurement strategy and delivery across engineered, modular and infrastructure-based programmes. You will work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Construction and Logistics teams to ensure procurement aligns with programme milestones, risk profiles and commercial targets. What you’ll be doing: * Shaping and delivering smart procurement strategies aligned to programme and risk * Sourcing engineered components, M&E equipment, specialist subcontract packages and global logistics solutions * Leading RFQs, commercial evaluations and supplier negotiations * Managing critical-path suppliers across complex international supply chains * Ensuring compliance with defence, export control and trade regulations * Driving cost control, value engineering and supply chain performance What we’re looking for: * CIPS qualified (or working towards) * Strong procurement background in engineering, construction, modular/off-site or infrastructure projects * Experience supporting defence, government or security-sensitive contracts * Commercially astute, confident reading technical drawings and specifications * Comfortable operating in fast-paced, multi-project environments What we offer: * Opportunity to work on high-profile international defence and government projects * A collaborative and technically driven working environment * Career development within a growing and specialist engineering & construction organisation * 25 days annual leave + BH * 37.5 hours working week * Competitive salary + Excellent Benefits * Private Medical Insurance Cover (BUPA) * Life Cover (3.5x salary) * Pension Plan * Plus various salary sacrifice schemes (eBike, electric car purchase) and other life wellbeing platforms
