Site Agent Major Marine Civil Engineering Project | Britain’s Ocean City The Opportunity We’re recruiting an experienced Site Agent to take full operational ownership of a major work package on a flagship marine civil engineering scheme in Britain’s Ocean City. This is a nationally significant infrastructure project delivering complex reinforced concrete and heavy civils works in a technically demanding marine environment. The Role As Site Agent, you’ll take responsibility for the safe, efficient and commercially sound delivery of a major section of works. You’ll lead engineering, supervisory and subcontract teams, ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations. Key responsibilities include: Full operational management of a defined work package Leading Senior Engineers, Section Engineers and site teams Managing subcontractors and specialist trades Driving short-term planning and programme delivery Leading client interface and attending progress meetings Overseeing H&S compliance and site standards Reviewing and approving RAMS Working closely with commercial teams on cost control and reporting Proactively identifying and resolving delivery risks Ensuring quality and technical compliance on complex RC and marine works This is a hands-on leadership role with real accountability. About You We’re looking for a proven Site Agent with strong heavy civils experience. You’ll bring: Experience delivering major civil engineering projects as Site Agent Strong background in reinforced concrete structures Marine or infrastructure project experience desirable Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors Strong commercial awareness and NEC contract familiarity Excellent communication and leadership skills Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance You’ll be organised, commercially aware and confident making decisions on live projects.
