Mobile Commercial Pump Specialist We are seeking an experienced Commercial Pump Specialist (Mobile Engineer) to service, maintain, troubleshoot and commission pumping systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and municipal sites. This is a senior, field‑based role for a hands‑on mechanical expert with strong diagnostic ability.The Role Service, repair and rebuild commercial pump systems (end suction, inline, split-case, vertical multistage, boosters, sump pumps). Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in pumps, motors, seals, bearings, couplings & VFD systems. Carry out vibration analysis, performance testing & system optimisation. Complete seal replacements, impeller adjustments, motor alignments & pump overhauls. Support commissioning and start‑ups. Read and interpret technical drawings/schematics. Produce accurate service reports and parts lists. Provide clear customer communication and recommendations. Maintain tools, diagnostic equipment & company vehicle. Participate in on‑call rota as required.What You’ll Need 3–5+ years’ experience with commercial or industrial pumps. Strong understanding of pump curves, hydronic systems & mechanical seals. Experience with VFD-controlled pumping systems. Ability to fault‑find both mechanically and electrically. Confident working independently across multiple sites. Full UK driving licence.Preferred Mechanical engineering qualification or apprenticeship. BMS/HVAC experience. Manufacturer training or certifications.
