Registered Manager (Ofsted)

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in Tottenham, delivering high-quality, child-centred care in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Regulations. This is a key leadership role for a committed professional who can create a safe, nurturing, and aspirational environment for children and young people with complex needs. Key Responsibilities * Register with Ofsted and maintain full regulatory compliance at all times * Provide strong, consistent leadership to the staff team * Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people * Manage staffing, rotas, supervision, appraisals, and ongoing development * Develop and maintain robust care plans, risk assessments, and policies * Work effectively with local authorities, external professionals, and families * Manage budgets and resources efficiently * Lead on inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes Essential Requirements * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) * Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s setting * Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, inspections, and regulations * Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team * Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) What’s on Offer * Competitive salary £50K - £55K (dependent on experience) * Performance-related bonuses * Ongoing training and career progression * Supportive senior leadership and operational backing * Opportunity to make a genuine, lasting impact on young people’s lives If you are a dedicated leader ready to drive excellence in children’s services, we would love to hear from you
