Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Lewisham, South East London Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Flexible - Full-time / Part-time / Day-to-day supply About the Role We are a specialist education recruitment agency working with a range of vibrant and inclusive secondary schools across Lewisham. We are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support schools with short-term and long-term cover needs. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, or individuals with strong classroom management skills looking to gain experience in education. Key Responsibilities Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons Supporting the overall learning environment across the school The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with young people (schools, youth work, coaching, tutoring or similar) Strong behaviour management skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities A calm, professional and adaptable approach A genuine interest in education A degree is desirable but not essential.
