Quantity Surveyor - Residential Developer 📍 Yorkshire 💰 Competitive Salary + Car Allowance + Bonus + Full Package 🏗️ New Build Housing We are working with a well-established, highly reputable regional housebuilder with a strong pipeline of developments across Yorkshire. Due to continued growth and multiple live sites, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a cash-strong developer with a clear land pipeline, realistic build programmes, and a supportive leadership team. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple new build housing developments from procurement through to final account. Your duties will include: Preparing and managing budgets and cost plans Procurement and management of subcontract packages Valuations, variations, and cost reporting CVR production and monthly forecasting Subcontractor payments and final accounts Working closely with site teams to manage cost and programme About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential housing Strong knowledge of subcontract procurement and cost control Experience managing multiple live sites Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills Able to build effective working relationships with operational teams This role would suit either an established QS looking for more autonomy, or an Assistant QS ready to step up into full site responsibility.
