Dual-Registered Children’s Home Manager Preston / Prestwich Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 per year 2 solo homes We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Dual-Registered Children’s Home Manager to oversee two 1-bed children’s residential homes in the Preston / Prestwich area. This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager seeking a well-supported role within small, specialist services focused on delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for young people. Key Responsibilities Overall leadership and management of two solo children’s residential homes Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards Lead, supervise, and develop staff teams to maintain excellent care delivery Promote stable, therapeutic environments that support young people’s development Manage budgets, resources, and operational performance Maintain strong working relationships with external professionals and stakeholders Requirements Experience managing children’s residential homes (dual registration preferred) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent Strong understanding of safeguarding, children’s home regulations, and inspections Confident leadership, organisational, and communication skills Full UK driving licence preferred What’s on Offer Competitive salary of £65,000 – £75,000 depending on experience Opportunity to lead small, specialist homes with a strong care focus Supportive senior leadership and ongoing professional development For more information or a confidential discussion, please apply with your CV or call Tom at Purosearch on (phone number removed)
