Their state-of-the-art fabrication facility and build space, together span an impressive 53,000 square feet of advanced factory accommodation. Job Description: Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating forklifts safely, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth logistics flow. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to contribute to a dynamic and organised environment. Duties * Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse * Manage inventory using warehouse management systems, ensuring accurate tracking of stock movements * Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including checking deliveries and preparing orders for dispatch * Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure operational safety and efficiency * Handle materials carefully, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and proper stacking * Support general warehouse organisation, including cleaning work areas and maintaining safety standards * Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and minimise delays in material handling processes Qualifications * Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment * Good Communication skills * Knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic mechanical repair skills * Ability to handle materials safely, including heavy lifting and stacking * Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures * Mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues * Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred * Valid forklift licence or certification is required * Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management Additional info * 25 Days holiday * Working Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-4pm * Saturday overtime Available Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
