Finance Business Partner

An established, fast-growing manufacturing business based in Manchester is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its Finance team on an initial 6 month contract. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role supporting senior leadership across operations, supply chain, and production during a period of sustained growth and transformation. Key responsiblites include: * Produce monthly management accounts and lead performance review meetings with senior operational stakeholders * Distribute monthly P&Ls across production sites and support detailed cost centre reviews * Analyse manufacturing KPIs including production volumes, labour efficiency, material usage, yield, and overhead absorption * Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across supply chain, inventory, and capacity planning * Provide commercial insight and recommendations to improve margins, cost control, and operational performance * Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support pricing decisions, capital expenditure appraisals, and continuous improvement initiatives * Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with production and supply chain teams * Prepare weekly operational and financial KPI reporting for senior leadership * Support senior finance leadership with cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and funding requirements * Ensure all reporting deadlines are met with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Requirements: * Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) * Experience working in manufacturing * Confident communicator with the ability to challenge and influence senior management Feel free to reach out to Edward Haworth at Vivid Resourcing for a confidential conversation about the role
