Production Controller Kings Norton, Birmingham £32,000 per annum Monday – Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm | Friday 7:30am–1:30pm SourceCo Recruitment are hiring for an established and growing manufacturing business in Kings Norton, who are seeking an organised and proactive Production Controller to join its operations team. This is a pivotal role within the production function, ideal for someone who thrives on structure, planning, and keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly. You’ll play a key part in ensuring customer demand is met on time, in full, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities: * Planning and releasing production orders in line with demand forecasts * Using MRP systems to generate accurate production documentation * Supporting with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings * Maintaining stock integrity through accurate production recording * Liaising with purchasing to ensure material availability * Raising purchase orders for subcontract operations * Coordinating subcontractors to ensure work is completed to schedule * Managing customer call off orders * Supporting resource planning, including overtime and temporary labour To be successful: * Previous experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing coordination * Strong working knowledge of MRP systems * Understanding of production scheduling and manufacturing workflows Why Apply? * Stable, well established manufacturing environment * Structured hours with an early finish on Fridays * Opportunity to play a key role in operational efficiency * Collaborative and supportive operations team
