We’re supporting a well‑established, people‑centric organisation seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Manager to act as the strategic number two to the Head of Talent & Development. What You’ll Be Doing In this influential role, you will: * Partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability gaps and translate them into targeted, high‑impact learning interventions * Maintain a strong presence across the business to gather insight, assess learning impact and drive continuous improvement * Oversee the design and delivery of blended learning programmes, ensuring innovation, consistency and quality * Continuously evolve induction and onboarding experiences to keep them modern, engaging and commercially balanced * Lead the development of bespoke programmes that support succession planning and talent growth * Work closely with the Digital Learning Design Manager to shape digital learning solutions aligned to business needs * Collaborate on company‑wide talent initiatives, including high‑potential development and leadership capability building * Drive the apprenticeship strategy, ensuring quality delivery, compliance and meaningful integration into teams * Use data, insights and MI to track progress, measure ROI and inform decision‑making * Lead, coach and inspire an L&D team to adopt future‑focused, innovative ways of working What We’re Looking For You’ll thrive in this role if you are: * A credible influencer with strong stakeholder management skills * A natural coach with high emotional intelligence * Curious, innovative and confident challenging the status quo * Able to balance pace with focus, adapting to business needs * Comfortable “failing fast” and learning quickly * Highly organised with strong planning skills * Someone who embraces feedback and continuous improvement * A strategic thinker who can shape effective L&D solutions * An authentic leader who builds engagement and empowers others Leadership Behaviours You’ll lead by example — being approachable, proactive, supportive and inspiring.
