Business Development Manager


Business Development Manager Location: Slough or Manchester (UK) £60-65K plus Bonus. The Role A growth-focused organisation is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to generate new revenue and expand existing client relationships. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will identify opportunities, close new business, and drive long-term customer value. Key Responsibilities * Develop and secure new revenue opportunities * Grow and retain existing accounts * Build forecasts and execute strategic sales plans * Deliver presentations and close business with decision-makers * Manage pipeline, forecasting, and activity through CRM * Prospect via cold outreach, online research, campaigns, and trade shows * Ensure strong post-sale satisfaction and relationship management What We’re Looking For * 3+ years of commercial or sales experience * Background in technology or logistics is highly desirable * Strong communication and presentation skills * Organised, detail-oriented, and solution-focused * Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively * Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems * Willingness to travel as required * Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Responsibilities * Lead generation and prospecting activity * Client meetings and product/service demonstrations * Revenue growth and account expansion We are looking for a motivated sales professional who is ready to make a measurable impact in their next role
