PPT driver/ Warehouse operative

Vital People are currently recruiting an experienced PPT driver/warehouse operative to join our client’s busy distribution centre in Haydock. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want consistent, ongoing work. All candidates must have a PPT licence (in house licences are accepted) Work is typically 80% PPT and 20% warehouse duties. Shift Monday to Friday 9.30pm – Finish (8 hour shifts) Pay: £12.21 per hour Key Responsibilities: * Operating PPT to run freight * Sorting parcels accurately and efficiently * Loading and unloading vehicles * Dispatching parcels onto conveyor belts * Organising parcels into the correct areas for delivery * Maintaining a safe and tidy work area * using pump truck Requirements: * Previous warehouse experience is essential * PPT licence required (in house licences are accepted) * 20% warehouse work, 80% PPT work * Ability to lift parcels up to 25kg * Good communication and teamwork skills * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic * Basic understanding of written and spoken English Vital People is an equal opportunity employer.
