Our client is an established, award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consultancy recognised for its collaborative approach to working with architects and delivering thoughtful, high-performance buildings. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer, fluent in both Spanish and English, to play a key role in the delivery of ambitious and technically challenging projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead the structural design of innovative buildings across a diverse range of sectors, materials, and scales. As a senior member of the engineering team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the technical direction and day-to-day management of projects from initial concept through to construction. Reporting to senior leadership, responsibilities will include overseeing and reviewing design output, coordinating closely with architects and multidisciplinary consultants, guiding and mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, sustainably, and to exceptional quality standards. Candidates should have 5-8 years of post-graduate experience within a structural design consultancy environment, alongside a solid understanding of Spanish building regulations, procurement routes, and construction practices. A qualification equivalent to UK Level 7 (MEng) is required, together with membership of AIPE/AQPE or an equivalent professional body, or demonstrable progress toward chartered status. The role will initially be based in the London office to ensure full integration into the team and working practices, before transitioning to Spain.
