Vehicle Technician (Vans) – Full Time, Permanent H&S Autocare – Canvey Island, SS8 0SD Pay: £20.00 – £30.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week (overtime available) Work type: In person | Full-time | Self-employed About the role We’re an independent business specialising in van servicing, maintenance, and repairs, and we’re looking for a capable, experienced Vehicle Technician to join the team. What you’ll be doing Using modern diagnostic equipment to identify faults quickly and accurately Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance across a range of vehicles (with a focus on vans) Completing brake inspections and safety checks to a high standard Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues Keeping clear, accurate service notes and records What we’re looking for Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic Strong diagnostic ability (you must be able to demonstrate this) Qualifications aren’t essential — experience and competence matter most Pay & benefits Self-employed position Over £25 per hour Overtime opportunities available Typical annual earnings: £45,000 – £70,000 Job type: Full-time, Permanent
