Architectural Technician

Architectural Technician Location: West Sussex Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 DOE An award winning AJ100 architectural practice is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its modern and highly sociable studio in West Sussex. The team delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across the residential, education, commercial, healthcare and hospitality sectors, with a strong emphasis on sustainable and people centred design. Benefits: * Regular social events and European study trips * Enhanced maternity and paternity leave * Employee Assistance Programme and eye care support * Structured internal and external CPD programme * Mentorship scheme and organised site visits * Clear progression opportunities within a collaborative practice * Flexible working arrangements considered Key Responsibilities: * Support the technical delivery of medium to large scale residential projects * Prepare detailed drawing packages across multiple RIBA stages * Produce accurate plans, elevations, sections and construction details * Assist with building regulations submissions and technical compliance * Coordinate with consultants and internal teams to ensure well resolved project information * Attend site meetings and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects About You: * Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline * CIAT membership or working towards chartership desirable * Minimum 1 year UK practice experience, ideally within residential projects * Proficient in AutoCAD, with Revit experience advantageous * Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations * Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills * Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach To apply, please call Sophie on (phone number removed) or alternatively, send your CV and Portfolio across to (url removed).
