SEND Teaching Assistant Position: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: DN17, Scunthorpe Contract: Full-time (temporary) Pay: £90 - £100 per day Provide Education is working with a friendly, inclusive primary school in Scunthorpe to find a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEND. This is a full-time role where you’ll be helping pupils both in the classroom and with their social development. It’s a great opportunity to build on your experience and play a real part in helping children grow in confidence and reach their potential. Key Responsibilities * Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them make progress. * Work alongside the class teacher to support lessons and classroom activities. * Liaise with the class teacher, other TAs and the SENCO to put learning and behaviour strategies in place. * Help maintain a positive, supportive classroom where children feel safe and encouraged. What We’re Looking For * Experience working with primary-aged children with SEND. * Someone who is flexible, reliable and consistent in their approach. * Confidence in managing behaviour and supporting children with additional needs. * An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply — we can help with this). * A good understanding of safeguarding, with at least Level 1 Safeguarding training.
