About Us Equitas Staffing is a specialist education staffing agency supporting early years settings with high-quality, reliable childcare professionals. We work in close partnership with nurseries and early years provisions to ensure children receive safe, nurturing and engaging care that supports their development. The Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting. This is a permanent or fixed-term opportunity, working with children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. Key Responsibilities • Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework • Promote children’s learning and development through play-based experiences • Observe, assess and record children’s progress • Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers • Ensure a safe, secure and inclusive learning environment • Support children’s personal, social and emotional development • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times • Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards of care Qualifications and Experience • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) • Experience working within a nursery or early years setting • Good understanding of the EYFS framework • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Caring, patient and proactive approach • Commitment to promoting equality and inclusion Why Work with Equitas Staffing? • Support throughout the recruitment process • Access to permanent and fixed-term early years opportunities • Dedicated consultant guidance • Competitive salary in line with experience Equal Opportunities & Safeguarding Equitas Staffing is an equal opportunities employer.
