Senior Site Manager

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Site Manager on behalf of an established main construction contractor in the North East. Applicants will need to show a track record of excellent management and communication skills with the ability to proactively manage construction projects, including direct labour and sub-contractor resource and the ability to deliver quality construction projects within budget and programme timescales in a safe environment. This company works as principal contractor on projects including: Education, Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Healthcare, etc. Duties/Responsibilities: * Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to quality targets and deadlines. * Produce construction phase plans and programming works. * Co-ordination of various sub-contractors and direct delivery teams. * Progress reports and meetings with senior management and clients. * Ordering materials for site and managing supply chain. * Daily site diaries & briefings. Experience required: Must have: * Ability to manage project costs and on the ground delivery at all stages. * Experience managing construction projects over £20m. * Experience of large-scale Cat B fit out and external facade works. * Qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid are essential. * Degree or HNC/HND qualified is beneficial. Remuneration: A salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 (dependant upon experience) plus package.
