CNC Machinist - 3 Shift Rotation Location: Livingston Shifts: Monday to Friday (Early Finish Every Friday) Salary: £39,989 rising to £40,800 after probation We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Livingston, operating within the Aerospace and Defense sector. This is a permanent role offering stability and career progression with a globally know company. Shift Pattern (3-Week Rotation) Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm (12.20pm Friday) Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm (12.20- 6.40pm Friday) Week 3: 10:00pm - 6:00am (6.40pm- 1am Friday) We have opportunities for weekend only working if this is your preference. Key responsibilities of the role Setting and operating CNC machines (milling and/or turning) Loading programs and making tooling offsets Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment Working to strict quality, safety and compliance standards Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department Candidate Requirements Time-served CNC Machinist OR equivalent HNC qualification in Engineering Proven experience in a CNC machining environment ideally 2 years minimum Ability to work a 3-shift rotating pattern Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc or Heidenahin High attention to detail and commitment to quality What's on Offer £39,800 salary, increasing to £40,800 after probation Stable, long-term employment Early finish every Friday Modern facilities and supportive team environment If you are a keen CNC machinist looking for career progression and the ability to prove yourself please get in touch with one of our engineering experts on (phone number removed) Due to the nature of work within the defence sector ,Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, Sponsorship is not available for this role
