Mechanical Fitter Permanent Salary dependent on experience Full-time On site & Field based Mechanical Fitter Job Description Carry out mechanical fitting activities on medium and large rotating electrical machines, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard. Promote and maintain strong health & safety practices on site, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with approved procedures and documentation. Support project delivery by monitoring progress against plans and proactively highlighting risks or delays. Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure quality records, checks, and documentation are completed prior to and during site works. Represent the business professionally while working on customer sites, maintaining clear communication and high standards of workmanship. Mechanical Fitter Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications Proven experience working as a Mechanical Fitter or Winder within an engineering or site-based environment. Demonstrable experience working on rotating electrical machinery, including AC and DC motors and generators. Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
