Logistics FLT Operative Selby, North Yorkshire YO8 Permanent Role Salary depending on experience Commutable from York, Sherburn-in-Elmet, Pontefract, Garforth, Castleford, Selby, Tadcaster, Goole, Beverley, Pocklington Monday–Friday rotating shifts: 6:00am–2:30pm or 12:00pm–8:30pm Rotational Saturdays: 10:00am–6:30pm Work pattern: 5 days one week, 4 days the next (if you work a Saturday, you receive the following Monday off) Holidays: 33 days inclusive of Bank Holidays About the Role Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a growing manufacturing site in Selby, North Yorkshire who seeking an experienced Logistics Operative/FLT Driver to support all day-to-day logistical operations. This is a hands-on role involving loading/unloading, stock movement, product sampling, documentation, and close collaboration with production teams to maintain quality and process control. You’ll be part of a busy, fast-paced environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are essential. Key Responsibilities Load and unload materials and products using forklift trucks (reach/counterbalance) and telehandlers Load/unload tankers containing powder or liquid products, including ADR materials Liaise with drivers to ensure schedules are met Collect samples of incoming and outgoing products for testing Complete all paperwork and documentation accurately Work closely with production teams on process control and quality assurance Move materials across site and off-site storage areas Decant and batch products as required Assist with stock taking Work safely and in line with regulations, site procedures, and deadlines Carry out other reasonable duties as required Skills & Experience Previous experience in a similar logistics or industrial environment Valid FLT licence (issued within the last 3 years) Full, clean UK driving licence Confident working independently and taking ownership of tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills Basic IT skills, including data entry into Microsoft Office Chemical handling awareness (preferred) ISO systems awareness (advantageous) Salary & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience 33 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Generous pension scheme Life assurance Healthcare scheme after one year of service Full PPE and workwear provided If you would like to apply for the role of Logistics FLT Operative, then please email your CV to (url removed)  or call Deb on (phone number removed) Closing date is 28.2.2026 Please note this could change subject to suitable applications.
