Cityworx are recruiting in partnership with a purpose-built nursing home is seeking an experienced Registered Manager (Nurse qualified – RGN essential) to lead the service and drive standards towards an Outstanding CQC rating. The home provides nursing care within a modern environment designed around resident accessibility and comfort. The focus is on delivering consistently high-quality, person-centred care and building a positive culture where staff feel supported and engaged. This role will suit a strong clinical leader who combines regulatory knowledge, operational management and team leadership to deliver measurable quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Regulatory & Clinical Leadership * Register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as Home Manager * Maintain full regulatory compliance and inspection readiness * Lead audits, governance and risk management processes * Drive continuous improvement towards Outstanding rating Operational Management * Inspire and lead the staff team to deliver high-quality care * Manage admissions, assessments and contractual requirements * Ensure effective care planning and person-centred delivery * Maintain safe staffing, supervision and competency standards Occupancy & Business Performance * Promote the home to maintain full occupancy * Support marketing activity including community engagement and feedback platforms * Manage budgets and financial performance of the service Quality & Compliance * Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and auditing systems * Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and risk procedures are embedded * Prepare for and lead regulatory inspections Essential Requirements * Registered General Nurse (RGN) – mandatory * Previous Registered Manager experience within a nursing home * Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspections * Experience leading clinical teams and improving quality outcomes * Budget management and occupancy management experience * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills What’s on Offer * £61K – £65K basic salary * Salary increase to £75K upon achieving Outstanding CQC rating * Stable, supportive ownership structure * Autonomy to shape the service and team culture * Opportunity to lead a quality-focused nursing home
