Maths Teacher

Maths Teacher – Lytham St Annes Humly is recruiting a Maths Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role starting 23 February 2026 and continuing until 17 July 2026. This role would suit a confident and enthusiastic practitioner who can engage pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 and contribute positively to a supportive Maths department. What You’ll Be Doing * Deliver Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 * Plan and prepare engaging and challenging learning activities * Support pupils to build confidence, fluency, and problem-solving skills * Monitor and assess pupil progress and provide feedback * Contribute to the wider Maths team and departmental initiatives What You’ll Bring * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 * Strong classroom management and organisational skills * Ability to establish positive routines and motivate pupils * Commitment to supporting the wider school community Pay Paid to scale from day one: £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6) Additional Benefits * Weekly pay and access to roles via the Humly app * FREE Safeguarding, Prevent & Child Protection training * Ongoing support from our experienced North West team * £100 Refer-a-Friend bonus once your referral completes their first assignment Important Information * Full-time position * Start date: 23 February 2026 * Secondary school-based position * Enhanced DBS required (Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator) * Safeguarding & Rehabilitation of Offenders Act: This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
