Year 1 Teacher

Progress Teachers are currently recruiting for a Primary School in Chaddesden in Derby that are on the lookout for a Year 1 Teacher - Full time - immediately  We focus solely on long term and permanent roles which means you will be returning to the that same school each day! Responsibilities would include: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are in line with the national curriculum Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued Implement proactive and effective behaviour management strategies to keep children engaged Maintain regular communication with parents and staff to support and track progress Assess and monitor student performance to provide constructive feedback We are looking for a teacher who: Is passionate about inclusive education and working with children with high SEND and behaviour needs. Has excellent classroom management skills and a calm, positive approach. Can adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
