Interaction Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. This is a permanent role, ideal for someone with purchase ledger or accounts experience who enjoys working in a supportive, structured environment. £28,000 pro rata (£13.50ph) 18 hours per week (additional overtime of up to 6 hours may be required around month-end) Flexible working pattern to be agreed Core Responsibilities Receiving, scanning, coding (including VAT), and accurately posting purchase invoices Creating and maintaining supplier accounts, handling queries and disputes Preparing BACS and cheque payments, supporting payment runs Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, reconciling supplier statements Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies or payment issues Processing staff expense claims and petty cash Assisting with month-end/year-end reports, audits, and providing general finance team support Key Skills & Experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisation and time-management skills Effective verbal and written communication Proactive problem-solving abilities Experience using SAP or similar accounting software Previous experience in an accounts assistant / purchase ledger role preferred If you are interested in the position apply now or call (phone number removed) quoting the job reference number or ask for Kara for more details!
