Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel (4★ / 5★) Location: South Kensington, London Contract: Permanent | Full-Time Hours: 48 hours per week Start Date: ASAP or April (2 vacancies available) Salary & Benefits * Basic Salary: £35,000 per annum * Service Charge: £5,000–£7,000 per annum * Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time About the Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury hotel in South Kensington for an experienced Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-quality hotel restaurant delivering refined British cuisine with contemporary influences. The successful candidate will work closely with a highly regarded and award-winning Head Chef, offering strong development and progression opportunities within a professional kitchen environment. Breakfast experience is desirable but not essential. Key Responsibilities * Take responsibility for your section, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation * Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations * Deliver dishes in line with luxury hotel standards * Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards * Contribute ideas and creativity to menu development * Work collaboratively within a structured kitchen brigade Key Requirements * Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie * Background in a 4★ / 5★ hotel or 3-rosette standard restaurant preferred * Strong knowledge of food safety and modern cooking techniques * Passion for food and high standards * Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail What’s on Offer * Participation in a Tronc/service charge scheme (£5,000–£7,000 p.a.) * 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays (increasing with service) * Pension scheme and healthcare options * Meals provided during shifts * Refer-a-friend incentive * Opportunity to join a respected luxury hotel group with strong career progression
