Job Title: Marketing Manager Location: Southampton Pay: £20-£22 per hour (salary equivalent £40-£42k) Contract: Approx 6 months Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Work Pattern: Hybrid Parking: Yes About the Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to support a successful organisation on a temporary basis, to lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns supporting recruitment across UK and international markets. This role will focus on strengthening market position and ensuring compelling propositions are delivered. You will lead on campaign strategy and implementation, working closely with creative and media agencies, internal stakeholders, and recruitment teams to achieve ambitious recruitment targets. Key Responsibilities Campaign Strategy & Planning Analyse market intelligence, audience insight and recruitment data to inform campaign strategy Develop targeted, data-driven marketing plans aligned to recruitment objectives Collaborate with external creative agencies to develop campaign concepts and assets Campaign Delivery & Management Lead campaign execution in partnership with media agencies Brief agencies effectively and manage performance against objectives Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget Manage the full campaign lifecycle across multiple recruitment stages and audiences Audience & Channel Strategy Develop deep understanding of target audiences (UK, international, and progression markets) Identify the most effective channels to reach audiences across the recruitment journey Performance Reporting & Optimisation Monitor campaign performance and market trends Produce insight-driven reports with clear recommendations Team & Stakeholder Management Line manage and support the Marketing Coordinator Work collaboratively with faculty marketing leads and international recruitment teams Events & Cross-Functional Contribution Contribute to broader recruitment and marketing initiatives Support key recruitment cycle activities such as open days and applicant events Skills and Experience Significant experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns Strong strategic planning and analytical skills Experience working with creative and media agencies Ability to translate data and insight into actionable marketing strategy Budget management experience Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing or mentoring team members Experience delivering campaigns across multiple international markets Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
