Job Role: Bid & Tenders Manager Location: Northampton Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (40 hours) Salary: Up to £75,000 Basic About the Company: A large nationwide fleet business is seeking an experienced Bid & Tenders Manager to join their Northampton team. The Role: You will lead and manage the full end-to-end tender process for long and short-term hire solutions. Acting as the key link between commercial, operational and client-facing teams, you’ll ensure submissions are professionally written, commercially sound and competitively priced. This is a pivotal role focused on securing major contracts, maintaining framework positions and leading a high-performing team to successful contract implementation. Key Responsibilities: Lead all business tender submissions from initial review to final submission Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant bids Ensure commercial viability and competitive pricing strategies Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the bid lifecycle Oversee successful contract mobilisation following awardRequirements: Proven experience managing public sector bids and tenders to tight deadlines Strong commercial awareness and excellent written communication skills Solid understanding of public sector procurement regulations Ability to manage multi-functional teams and senior stakeholders Professional, client-focused approachDesirable: Knowledge of Local Government services Experience with digital procurement platforms (e.g. Delta eSourcing, Proactis) Background in commercial vehicle or logistics sectors Understanding of ESG, Net Zero and Social Value in procurement APMP or Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2)Benefits: 25 days holiday + birthday, Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve off (option to buy/sell leave) Share Save Scheme Profit Related Pay Up to 10% employer pension contribution Enhanced family-friendly policies Employee discounts 1 Volunteering Day per year Life Assurance & Personal Accident CoverHow to Apply For more information, contact Macy at Kemp Recruitment on (phone number removed).
