A well-established precision manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its machine shop team with an experienced CNC Machinist. This is a hands-on role within a clean, structured production environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency and producing high-quality components. This opportunity is open to candidates from any precision engineering or manufacturing background – sector experience is far less important than attitude, skill and attention to detail. The role You’ll be part of a close-knit machining team responsible for producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances. The role offers variety, responsibility and long-term stability within a well-run manufacturing operation. Key responsibilities: Operating CNC turning and/or milling machines Using manual machinery where required Working from engineering drawings, job cards and machining instructions Completing first-off and in-process inspection checks Accurately recording work using shop-floor systems Supporting production flow to meet deadlines Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping What we’re looking for Proven experience in a machining or precision manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with CNC turning and/or milling machines Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-led environment Reliable, proactive and team-oriented Physically fit and happy in a hands-on role What’s on offer Salary of £30,000 – £33,000 depending on experience Early finish every Friday Regular optional overtime available Secure, long-term position within a stable manufacturing business Supportive team and well-organised production environment Generous benefits package Opportunity to develop skills and progress over time If you’re an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a stable role where quality matters and your work is valued, we’d like to hear from you.
