Junior Lighting Controls Sales Engineer 📍 Hybrid - Home / Office Based 🕒 Full-Time 💰 £28,000 - £35,000 + Bonus + Company Car About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Lighting Controls Sales Engineer to join a growing lighting controls and energy solutions business. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has an interest in lighting controls, intelligent buildings, and energy-efficient technologies. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting sales activities through technical assistance, quotations, and customer engagement - while receiving structured training and development to build both technical and commercial expertise. Key Responsibilities Support customers and consultants with lighting controls enquiries Assist with project quotations and basic system designs Attend customer and consultant meetings (independently or with senior colleagues) Help prepare technical presentations and CPD materials Support the handover process from sales to project delivery Maintain accurate CRM records Travel nationally as required Skills & Experience Basic understanding of lighting controls (DALI knowledge preferred) Exposure to lighting, electrical, BMS, or building services environments Strong communication and organisational skills Professional and customer-focused approach Willingness to learn and develop technical and commercial skills Comfortable using MS Office and CRM systems Full UK driving licence preferred What's on Offer Competitive salary (£28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience) Company car 25 days holiday + bank holidays Laptop and mobile phone Performance and sales bonus schemes Structured training and career development Supportive and collaborative team environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation working at the forefront of energy-efficient lighting technology
