Warehouse Team Leader Competitive Salary + Life Assurance x2, Pension (4%) Days Role, Mon-Fri (early finish on Friday) The Opportunity A well-established, high-engineering manufacturing business in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to lead its stores and materials function within a fast-paced production environment. The Role You will take ownership of the day-to-day stores operation, ensuring materials are received, controlled, picked and kitted accurately and on time to support production. This is not just a supervisory role - you will be actively involved in operations, setting standards and driving performance. Key Responsibilities Stores & Inventory Control Lead all goods-in, goods-out, picking, kitting and stock movements Ensure 100% ERP system accuracy and stock integrityTeam Leadership Supervise, coach and develop a small team of 6 Stores Assistants Run daily briefings and allocate workload Promote a "Right First Time" cultureOperational Excellence Ensure production kits are complete, labelled correctly and delivered on time Maintain 5S standards and organised, safe working areas Support compliance with ISO and quality standards About You Min 2-3+ years' experience in a manufacturing stores or warehouse environment Experience in electronics, automotive, aerospace or technical manufacturing (highly desirable) Previous team leadership or supervisory experience ERP/MRP system experience (e.g. SAP, Sage or similar) High attention to detail - able to differentiate similar components Forklift licence (Reach or Counterbalance preferred) Comfortable working in a hands-on production environmentExperience with Lean, 5S or quality systems such as ISO9001 or AS9100 would be advantageous.
