Domestic Cleaner

We are currently recruiting Domestic Support staff to cover staff sickness at a nursing home in Rotherham, providing essential cleaning support to maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment. Location: Rawmarsh, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S62 Hours: 08:30 – 16:30 5 days per week Flexibility required – weekdays and weekends on a rota basis Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour Contract: ASAP start Ongoing cover until Tuesday 31/03/2026 Key Duties: * General and deep cleaning in line with cleaning schedules * Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control * Safe use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment (COSHH compliant) * Reporting any faults or issues promptly * Working respectfully within a care environment, maintaining residents’ dignity and privacy Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable): * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – required for immediate start * Previous cleaning/domestic experience (care or similar environments desirable) * Good understanding of health & safety and infection control * Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced domestic assistant looking for stable, ongoing work with immediate start availability
