Production Manager Stowmarket Permanent £45-50K per annum Are you a confident Production Manager ready to take ownership of a busy, fast‑paced operation? This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior role within a business known for producing high‑quality, precision‑made products. You’ll play a key part in leading Production, Planning and Logistics, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day performance while driving continuous improvement across the operation. What you’ll be doing: Leading and developing teams across Production, Planning and Logistics. Ensuring products are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards. Managing the full introduction of new products into the production environment. Running Lean and continuous‑improvement projects to boost efficiency and reduce waste. Overseeing production scheduling, stock/WIP control and supplier coordination. Translating business goals into clear operational plans. Responding quickly to changes in demand and adjusting priorities to meet customer deadlines. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in Production Management within a manufacturing environment. Strong project management skills. A solid understanding and practical experience using improvement tools. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, motivating leadership style. Confident working with MRP/ERP systems and general IT tools. Someone organised, proactive and passionate about leading teams and improving processes.
