Field Service Technician Location: Glasgow(Covering Scotland, Carlisle & Newcastle) Salary: £45,000 + Overtime (OTE £55,000) + Company Van Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30 Are you an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer with strong mechanical skills looking for a field-based role with excellent earning potential and variety? We are recruiting for a Field Service Technician to join a specialist engineering service team delivering world-class loading and materials handling solutions to major logistics and distribution clients across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high-profile customers including leading names in logistics, parcel handling and air cargo. The Role As part of the Engineering Service Support Team, you will: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) across customer sites Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend system enhancements Participate in a 1 in 3 on-call rota (home-based standby) Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation and site permit systems Maintain accurate service reports and professional customer communication Travel across Scotland and occasionally further afield as requiredThis role is electrically biased but requires strong mechanical capability, including fabrication and welding.
