Sales Manager – Energy Storage & Solar (UK) Location: UK (Home-based) Department: UK Sales Reports to: Head of Sales / Regional Director The Opportunity Viridis Talent is partnering with a global renewable energy manufacturer that is scaling its UK residential offering across battery storage, inverters and smart energy solutions. We’re searching for a Sales Manager to drive commercial growth, build strong installer and distributor relationships, and expand market presence across the UK. This is a high-impact commercial role focused on channel development, partner acquisition and sales strategy execution. Key Responsibilities 📈 Sales & Channel Growth * Drive sales of residential ESS, inverters, and energy management products across distributors and installer networks * Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets * Develop new channel partners and strengthen existing accounts 🤝 Installer & Distributor Engagement * Build and maintain strong relationships with top installers, wholesalers and buying groups * Conduct product walkthroughs, commercial presentations, and business development meetings * Support partners with product positioning, pricing strategies and sales enablement 🎯 Market Development * Identify new opportunities in the UK residential energy storage and PV market * Provide insights into customer needs, competitor activity and market trends * Work closely with marketing to support campaigns, launches and field events 🧠 Internal Collaboration * Align closely with technical support teams to ensure smooth onboarding, training and after-sales support * Work with product and R&D teams to provide market feedback on UK residential requirements * Support forecasting, budgeting and commercial planning Requirements Experience * Proven track record in residential solar PV, ESS, or electrical hardware sales * Strong network across installers, wholesalers, or distributors in the UK * Experience achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market Skills * Confident communicator with strong commercial instincts * Skilled in presenting, negotiating and partner relationship management * Understanding of residential PV/ESS technical fundamentals (inverters, batteries, installs) Other * UK driving licence * Willingness to travel to customer sites, events and partner meetings nationwide Why This Role? * Join a fast-growing manufacturer with premium residential ESS & PV solutions * Shape UK channel strategy at a time of rapid market expansion * Strong earning potential and long-term development opportunities
