Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Howden £35,000 - £40,000 per year | Full Time | Permanent 6am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday Our client is a well-established, family-run Yorkshire food manufacturer, producing high-quality products using locally sourced ingredients from their own farms. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation and traditional values, the business continues to grow across both retail and foodservice markets is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. The Role As Production Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of production, ensuring the team delivers safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead from the front and help drive continuous improvement across the factory. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support production teams to meet daily output targets Ensure all products meet company quality and food safety standards Monitor production performance, downtime and waste, taking action where required Maintain high standards of health, safety and hygiene across the site Plan labour and resources to ensure smooth operations Train, coach and motivate team members to improve performance Work closely with maintenance, quality and management teams to resolve issues quickly Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costsAbout You Previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role (food manufacturing preferred) Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards Organised, practical and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Good communication and problem-solving skills Flexible and hands-on approach What's on Offer Salary £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Full-time, permanent position Opportunity to join a stable and growing business Career development opportunities available
