Business Development Manager – Firewalls & Industrial Partitions Stancold UK, Gilcrest Manufacturing. Stancold UK is seeking a commercially focused and proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Firewalls and Industrial Partitions divisions. This role combines new business generation with strategic account management, supporting our continued expansion within the construction, food manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors. The successful candidate will have proven new business experience and strong account management capability, with experience working alongside Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and subcontractors. You will be confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, maintaining accurate sales data and pipeline reporting. A strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications is essential, as is a solution-selling approach rather than purely product-based sales experience. You must demonstrate strong negotiation skills and be commercially aware, with a clear understanding of GP, budgets, and sales targets. Key responsibilities include managing and developing customer accounts, maintaining and updating CRM records, and preparing drawing mark-ups and quotation information for the estimating team. The role involves reporting to the Sales Director, conducting regular client calls and visits, undertaking site surveys, and delivering presentations to prospective clients. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop new markets and work alongside construction delivery teams to ensure projects are successfully secured and delivered.
