We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join our busy Assessment Team. Key Responsibilities: Undertake Child and Family Assessments following safeguarding referrals. Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to ensure children are safeguarded and supported. Complete statutory enquiries and risk assessments in line with legislation and local procedures. Manage cases within Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) frameworks. Contribute to and manage both private and public law proceedings, including court work where required. Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports. Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. Proven experience in frontline children's services, particularly within assessment and safeguarding. Sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practice. Experience of working within CIN and CP frameworks. Confidence in managing court-related work and legal processes. Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills. Working Arrangements: The team operates on a three-week duty cycle: One week on duty, receiving new referrals and cases. Two weeks off duty, focusing on case progression. During duty weeks, social workers are expected to be office-based.
