Water Treatment Technician

Ref: (phone number removed) Location: Birmingham (B15) Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm Pay: £20.00ph paid weekly via umbrella – no CIS/LTD Duration: Ongoing Contract – Long Term/Temp to Perm    Duties To perform the complete range of Mechanical Craftsperson (Water) tasks as required or directed by management. To be  knowledgeable of and to work to ACoP L8 & HTM04-01. To be knowledgeable of and to work to the current regulations, codes of practice, Health & Safety regulations To have a knowledge of water systems within a commercial/healthcare environment and maintenance/ testing activities. To have a knowledge of Legionella and other water pathogens. To undertake temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, TMV servicing, buffer vessel blow downs, to name a few. Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision. Ensure all PPM work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions. Maintain records and logbooks, ensuring they are kept up to date and available for inspection.    Person Specification NVQ or C&G Level 2 Heating/Vent/Plumbing Legionella/TMV/Disinfection awareness and training
