Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) Junior – Senior Level | Salary DOE | Office-Based (Sevenoaks) An established building services consultancy is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer at Junior, Intermediate, or Senior level to support a growing workload across residential, commercial, and retail projects. This is an office-based role offering exposure across the full project lifecycle (RIBA Stages 1–5), with the opportunity to develop technically and progress long-term within the business. The Role * Mechanical design and coordination on a range of residential, commercial, and retail schemes * Involvement across RIBA Stages 1–5, from concept through to construction * Production of mechanical drawings and technical information * Occasional attendance at design and project meetings * Working closely with internal disciplines and external consultants Software * AutoCAD – essential * Navisworks – ideal * Revit – advantageous (not essential, training supported) Experience Required * Mechanical Engineering or Building Services background * Experience within UK building services projects (level dependent) * Exposure to residential, commercial, or retail projects * Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Junior engineers will receive hands-on support and mentoring. Senior engineers will have the opportunity to lead packages and support junior staff.
