Electrician - EICR

TradeField Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced EICR Electrician to support Southwark Council’s social housing electrical testing programme. This is a long-term contract working across domestic social housing properties, carrying out electrical safety inspections and associated remedial works. Role responsibilities include: * EICR testing and inspection across occupied social housing properties * Consumer unit and board changes where required * General electrical repairs and fault finding * Installation and testing of smoke alarms * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks Parking permits will be provided for this contract. Requirements: * Minimum 7 years’ experience as a qualified electrician * At least 1 year’s experience working within social housing environments * Valid Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) * Own calibrated testing equipment * Ability to commute within one hour of Southwark This is a stable, ongoing programme offering consistent work for the full 12-month term.
