Jackson Hogg is delighted to be working in partnership with a family-owned manufacturing client who is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator. This role will support day-to-day operations and will involve a mix of general administration, supply chain coordination, and customer service responsibilities. The Role * Raise, process, and track purchase orders in line with production requirements * Liaise with approved suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules * Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external customers, providing updates on order status and deliveries * Monitor stock levels and support inventory control to avoid shortages or overstocking * Ensure materials are delivered on time to meet production plans and customer commitments * Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, pricing, and customer records within ERP/MRP systems * Resolve delivery, invoice, or quality discrepancies in a timely and customer-focused manner * Provide administrative support to the Purchasing and Operations teams, ensuring systems and documentation are kept up to date * Support supplier performance reviews and assist with identifying cost-saving opportunities * Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams * Ensure all purchasing activity complies with company procedures and industry standards Benefits * Monday to Friday working pattern with flexible hours * Royal London pension scheme * 24 days’ holiday plus bank holidays * Birthday off * 1 day per year for dental/health appointments * Annual pay reviews * Christmas bonus
