Technical Administrator Location: Bournemouth Salary: £32,000 per year Hours: 37 per week Industry: Manufacturing Purpose: To provide technical, administrative, and systems support across the Engineering and Health & Safety departments, ensuring accurate data management, smooth coordination, and on-time delivery of engineering processes. Technical Administrator Key Responsibilities: Coordinate engineering and H&S documentation internally and with customers, ensuring accuracy and traceability Maintain engineering databases, ERP systems, and manual records for reporting and control Load bills of materials and standard routings into the ERP system, preparing plannings for engineer sign-off Support engineering delivery by monitoring process timelines and compliance with customer specifications Assist CAD/CAM activities including 2D drawings, sheet metal routing/punching, and basic 3-axis CNC programs Maintain data control for engineering documentation, including 3D models and paper records Provide administrative support to the H&S function, including safety card logging, KPI tracking, and risk assessment updates Carry out general technical and administrative tasks to support Engineering and Health & Safety teams Technical Administrator Candidate Requirements: Experience in a technical or engineering administrative role, preferably in manufacturing Proficient in CAD/CAM software and ERP systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately Good organisational and communication skills Basic understanding of CNC programming and engineering processes Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: Competitive salary of £32,000 per year 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays 37-hour working week
