Mobile Plumbing & Heating Engineer 📍 Mobile role – Stoke & Midlands 🕒 Permanent | Full Time (40 hours per week + on-call rota) 💷 Competitive salary + company vehicle + benefits We are recruiting a Mobile Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join a growing FM team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites in Stoke and the wider Midlands. This is a hands-on, mobile role covering plumbing, heating and hot water systems, ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy and working across different locations. The Role You will be responsible for: * Maintenance and repair of heating and hot water systems and general plumbing works * Fault finding and diagnosis across plumbing and heating plant * Carrying out installation works and completing all required certification * Ensuring plant faults and defects are rectified efficiently to maintain system availability * Identifying parts requirements and providing estimated timescales for remedial works * Undertaking Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRA) prior to starting tasks * Recording safety concerns and job updates using digital systems * Responding to breakdowns and equipment failures, including participation in a regional on-call rota * Working in line with health & safety legislation, contract requirements and client expectations What We’re Looking For Essential: * Recognised plumbing qualification (C&G Level 2 or equivalent) * Proven experience in plumbing and heating maintenance * Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Full, clean UK driving licence * Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS with Barred Lists check What’s On Offer * £32,000 - £34,000 * Company vehicle * 24 days annual leave plus public holidays (increasing to 25 days after 2 years’ service) * Life cover at 1.5x annual salary * Employee discount schemes with major retailers * Gym membership discounts * Cycle to Work scheme * Holiday purchase scheme * Two paid corporate social responsibility days per year * Ongoing training, development and professional qualification opportunities * Employee Assistance Programme and mental wellbeing support * Access to employee networks and inclusion initiatives
