Parking Design/CAD Technician

Our client, a council authority in London's Public Sector, is currently seeking a Parking Design/CAD Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in parking and design to work in a dynamic and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Providing technical support in the design and implementation of parking schemes Utilising AutoCAD to produce detailed parking designs and layouts Conducting on-site surveys to gather necessary data for design purposes Collaborating with other engineering and planning teams to ensure project success Supporting the council in achieving efficient and effective parking solutions Participating in project meetings and providing expertise in parking design Ensuring all designs meet local regulations and standards Maintaining accurate project documentation and records Job Requirements: Good experience in AutoCAD, particularly in the context of parking design Solid understanding of parking engineering principles and practices Ability to conduct on-site surveys and collect relevant data Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Effective communication and teamwork skills Proactive approach to problem-solving Must have a vehicle and be within a 90-minute commute from the council Experience in the Highways sector preferred If you have experience as a Parking Design/CAD Technician and are looking for a new contract opportunity within the Highways sector, we would love to hear from you.
