This role would suit a qualified Vehicle Technician who enjoys hands on mechanical work, problem solving, and working to recognised standards. You will be carrying out inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and roadworthy. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for steady weekday hours and competitive contract rates.  Key responsibilities Identifying and diagnosing mechanical and system faults across a range of vehicles. Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure full roadworthiness and compliance with DVSA standards. Completing job cards, maintenance records, and associated paperwork accurately and to a high standard. Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance. Supporting general workshop duties when needed to maintain an efficient working environment. Skills and experience required Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent. Full UK Driving Licence. Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment. Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
