Qualified Tutor / Teacher – 1:1 & Small Group Tuition Locations: Exeter, Exmouth, Topsham, Crediton, Cullompton We are seeking qualified teachers and specialist tutors to deliver 1:1 and small-group tuition for learners supported by Devon County Council. You will work with children and young people with EHCPs, supporting learners with ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and MLD, delivering personalised sessions aligned to individual outcomes. Tuition focuses on re-engagement, confidence building, and academic progress. Key Responsibilities Deliver personalised tuition across core and/or vocational subjects Adapt learning to meet EHCP targets and individual needs Support learners in schools, community venues, or online Build positive, trusting relationships to re-engage learners Requirements QTS / PGCE or relevant degree-level subject qualification Experience working with SEND or vulnerable learners Strong safeguarding knowledge Must be able to drive (non-negotiable) Pay Rate: £25 – £35 per hour (url removed) | (phone number removed) All applicants will be contacted to discuss suitability and then invited to register with TeacherActive.
